Managing partner marketing funds

To enable more transparency and efficiency the marketing team was looking for a better, system- and program-driven approach to managing their partner marketing funds (often called MDF in the IT industry).

The MDF Management Platform implemented in this case was the E³ MDF platform from PerksWW.

Goal

  • Standardize MDF programs around the world
  • Measure spend and outcome
  • Improve partners experience using a seamless system implementation with the partner portal

Project outcomes

  • Designed global MDF program framework with regional variations
  • Set up chosen MDF platform according to MDF program framework
  • Implemented integrations between MDF platform, partner portal and Salesforce.com including SSO for users
  • Launched with a staggered roll out, supporting regions with user training and adoption
